| Resumen: | Las escribas medievales monásticas integran una genealogía de mujeres dedicadas al arte de producir libros, oficio y arte mediante los cuales ocuparon un lugar de reconocimiento social y de privilegio en la historia cultural, social y de género de su época. Sin embargo, con el correr del tiempo la Historia de la cultura las invisibilizó y construyó un discurso de la autoridad científica androcéntrica basado en los aportes masculinos. En este marco, la presente investigación revisita la empresa científica desde el scriptorium medieval a la luz de las mujeres que lo habitaban para demostrar que ellas desarrollaron y ocupan un lugar central en la historia de la labor científica. Monastic medieval scribes are part of a genealogy of women dedicated to the art of producing books, crafts and art through which they occupied a place of social recognition and privilege in the cultural, social and gender history of their time. However, over time, the History of culture made them invisible and built a discourse of androcentric scientific authority based on male contributions. In this framework, the present investigation revisits the scientific enterprise from the medieval scriptorium in the light of the women who inhabited it to demonstrate that they developed and occupy a central place in the history of scientific work. |
