Inflexiones del giro memorial en el campo literario argentino : debates teóricos y diseños literarios

| Resumen: | Proponemos interrogar en qué medida la experiencia del terrorismo de Estado en Argentina provocó transformaciones en el campo cultural, artístico y literario. Comenzamos por considerar el cambio en el contexto político-cultural de la Argentina y del Cono Sur en la década de 1980, dado por la derrota de la izquierda revolucionaria, el inicio de las democracias y la emergencia de las políticas de la memoria, lo que supone un desplazamiento de la matriz revolucionaria hacia la agenda de los derechos humanos. ¿Cuáles fueron, entonces, los desafíos -movimientos, transformaciones, deslizamientos, innovaciones- que se suscitaron y qué respuestas ensayó la literatura (en las estéticas, en los géneros literarios, en el canon, en las representaciones y los imaginarios) así como las nuevas indagaciones de la crítica literaria? La conformación de un área de estudios de literatura y memoria, de carácter interdisciplinario se erige para procurar dar cuenta de estos cambios significativos que intervinieron cierto orden y saberes del campo literario. Esta área se caracteriza por forjar una serie de debatesque le son propios, en especial aquellos referidos a la representación del mal radical, por organizar un corpus textual específico centrado en el testimonio así como nuevas lógicas en el circuito de producción (escritor, instituciones, mercado, recepción), por la preeminencia de algunas tendencias estéticas particulares en relación los géneros literarios, las escrituras, tropos, imaginarios y lenguajes, por recuperar ciertas tradiciones y genealogías literariasque ahora no solo remiten al canon nacional o latinoamericano, sino también a las literaturas surgidas en torno a la Shoah, por los nuevo vínculos con los movimientos sociales y activismos que redefinen el estatuto autónomo del arte, por trabajar en muchas oportunidades con expresiones artísticas intermediales que combinan diversas formas de arte reclamando la necesidad de considerar un campo artísticoy no solo literario. We propose to interrogate the extent to which the experience of state terrorism in Argentina provoked transformations in the cultural, artistic, and literary field. We begin by considering the change in the political-cultural context of Argentina and the Southern Cone in the 1980s, given by the defeat of the revolutionary left, the beginning of democracies and the emergence of memory politics, which implies a shift from the revolutionary matrix to the human rights agenda. So, what were the challenges -movements, transformations, shifts, innovations- that arose, and what responses did literature (in aesthetics, literary genres, in the canon, in representations, and imaginaries) and the new inquiries of literary criticism attempt to address? The formation of an area of literature and memory studies, of an interdisciplinary nature, was established to try to account for these significant changes that intervened in a certain order and knowledge of the literary field. This area is characterized by establishing a series of debatesthat are specific, especially those referring to the representation of radical evil, by organizing a specific textual corpusfocused on testimony as well as new logics in the production circuit (writer, institutions, market, reception), by the preeminence of some particular aesthetic tendencies in relation to literary genres, writings, tropes, imaginaries and languages, by recovering certain literary traditionsand genealogies that now not only refer to the national or Latin American canon, but also to the literatures that emerged around the Shoah, for the new links with social movements and activismsthat redefine the autonomous status of art, for working on many occasions with intermediary artistic expressions that combine diverse forms of art demanding the need to consider an artistic field and not just literary. |
