Una "verdadera" universidad. El proceso de transformación de la Universidad Obrera Nacional en Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (1955-1959)

| Resumen: | El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el proceso de transformación de la Universidad Obrera Nacional (UON) en el periodo inmediatamente posterior al golpe de Estado que destituyó a Perón, haciendo especial énfasis en las tensiones generadas alrededor del concepto de "universidad", y de la jerarquía universitaria de esta institución. Para dar cuenta de ello, realizaremos una breve exposición de las objeciones que los diputados reformistas presentaron en el recinto parlamentario en 1948, con motivo de la sanción de la ley que diera origen a la UON para, sobre esta base, analizar las reformas desarrolladas una vez derrocado el peronismo en 1955. Por último, veremos en qué medida dichas transformaciones lograron revertir aquellas objeciones realizadas sobre la jerarquía universitaria de la UON, en los debates parlamentarios de la ley que sanciona la autarquía a esta institución. La metodología utilizada es el análisis documental de diversas fuentes oficiales e institucionales. The objective of this work is to analyze the transformation process of the National Workers University (UON) in the period immediately after the coup that removed Perón, with special emphasis on the tensions generated around the concept of "university", and of the university hierarchy of this institution. To account for this, we will make a brief exposition of the objections that the reformist deputies presented in the parliamentary chamber in 1948, on the occasion of the enactment of the law that gave rise to the UON in order, on this basis, to analyze the reforms developed in a Peronism was overthrown in 1955. Finally, we will see to what extent these transformations managed to reverse those objections made about the university hierarchy of the UON, in the parliamentary debates of the law that sanctions the autarky to this institution. The methodology used is the documentary analysis of various official and institutional sources. |
