La izquierda socialista de los 60 y el «camino propio» de la Revolución argentina

| Resumen: | Ubicándose en el contexto de la segunda mitad del siglo xx y de los procesos de renovación y latinoamericanización vividos por las izquierdas del Cono Sur, este trabajo se detiene en el caso del ala izquierda del Partido Socialista (ps) y su búsqueda de un camino que permi- tiera compatibilizar los objetivos socialistas con la cultura y la experiencia de una clase obrera mayoritariamente adherida al peronismo. Se identifican sus principales puntos de ruptura con la concepción socialista tradicional, los argumentos que permitieron pensar la articulación entre socialismo y peronismo desde una perspectiva revolucionaria -fuertemente influida por la Revolución cubana-, y las razones por las cuales su discurso formó parte de la etapa inaugural de la nueva izquierda argentina. Set in the context of the second half of the 20th century and the processes of renewal and Latin Americanization experienced by the left- wing parties of the Southern Cone, this paper focuses on the left wing of the Socialist Party (ps) and its quest for a path that would allow reconciling the socialists goals with the culture and experience of a working class supporting for the most part Peronism. It identifies its main breaking points from the traditional socialist conception, the arguments that allowed considering the interaction between Socialism and Peronism from a revolutionary perspective (strongly influenced by the Cuban Revolution), and the reasons by which its discourse was part of the opening stage of the New Argentine Left. |
